**Practice Benefit** Your resolve is unbreakable. You become expert in Will. At 7th level, you become a master in Will, and whenever you roll a success on a Will saving throw, it becomes a critical success instead.
**Refresh Arcana Benefit** Your mind is never idle, always busy analyzing whatever situation you've found yourself in. You can Recall Knowledge as part of Refreshing your Arcana.

Some arcanists blend traditional arcane magic with their arcana through the use of staves, scrolls and wands, combining versatility with power.
**Practice Benefit** You have experience with more traditional tools of magic. You can Activate staves, wands and scrolls if the spell you are trying to cast through them is on the arcane spell list. You can also prepare a staff with at least one arcane spell, adding a number of charges equal to your highest arcana slot rank. You can use your arcana DC for the item's DC in place of spell DC and you can use your arcana DC - 10 as your attack modifier for items that require you to make a spell attack. In this case, the attack formula is d20 + attribute modifier + your arcana DC proficiency.
**Refresh Arcana Benefit** You are adept at using many tools, and have practiced quick retrieval. You can Interact to draw, stow or swap an item you are holding as part of Refreshing your Arcana.
**Unique Arcana** Recharge Implement
Some arcanists turn their bodies into a conduit for arcana, attuning to the ebb and flow of their magical energies. They push the boundaries of arcana magic itself, manifesting more energy from nowhere.
**Practice Benefit** You gain the ability to sense fluctuations in magical energy around you; You can cast Detect Magic at will as an arcane innate spell, heightened to your highest arcana rank.
**Refresh Arcana Benefit** You can create a temporary arcana slot equal to your third highest rank of arcana (minimum of 1) as part of Refreshing your Arcana. You prepare that slot as part of creating it and the temporary arcana slot gained this way must be of a rank you can normally cast. You cannot create more than one temporary slot, though you can reprepare it when Refreshing your Arcana as normal. Temporary arcana slots last for 1 minute, and if not used, they harmlessly dissipate.
