Lord Aevum
Lord Aevum is the father of The Wanderer, the main antagonist of Aevum: Napora's Fall and an important figure in the Aevum series.
He's the power-hungry, narcissistic creator god of Therallum who created angels. His tyranny lead to indirectly creating the human race, which upon discovering he sought to completely eradicate in the event known as The Apocalypse. He resides mainly in his church.
Appearance
Lord Aevum wears a large, blue cloth, wrapped around him like a hood and a blue loincloth. He wears nothing else. His skin is completely pale white.
Personality
Lord Aevum sees no value in life, and will not hesitate to take lethal action against those who displease him. He places his own importance over everything and everyone else. He has an obsession with control and admiration and is quick to anger; After he found out about a separate colony of low ranking angels, also known as humans, outside of his control, he became furious and started The Apocalypse, with the intent of wiping out every human and angel in existence.
Backstory
Before the events of Napora's Fall
Lord Aevum awoke on Therallum at the beginning of time. Early on, he populated the planet with plant-life and animals but soon grew dissatisfied, and began to strongly crave admiration from others. He created the angels, a sentient species from which humans came from and created Eden, the first city. In the middle of Eden, a church stood, created by Lord Aevum as a place of worship for the angels.
Aevum: Napora's Fall
When Lord Aevum caught wind of Napora, the first human settlement created by rebellious angels, he became enraged. In a fit of fury, he decided to start The Apocalypse; creating thousands of monstrous beings for the sole purpose of wiping out all human and angel life. He was almost successful, wiping out all angels (but one) and almost all humans before he was stopped by The Wanderer; The son of Lord Aevum that was unknowingly conceived when Lord Aevum and one of his followers had an affair.
The Wanderer's appearance came to him as a surprise, and as such, because he was caught off-guard, The Wanderer slew Lord Aevum and put an end to The Apocalypse.
Aevum 2: Anima Parasite
Albeit he's not alive, Lord Aevum shows up as a hallucination of Xavier, a manifestation of the guilt repressed for betraying his people and acting out Lord Aevum's will. He appears as a stone statue of Lord Aevum, but as he battles with it, it regains its colors. Xavier manages to defeat it, but falls unconscious soon after. Lord Aevum's corpse then disappears sometime after.
Relationships
The Wanderer
The two share a mutual disdain of eachother. While The Wanderer is his biological son, not only does Lord Aevum hold no feelings of affection towards him, he began to spite and despise him as the two fought and Lord Aevum inched closer to death.
Archangel Xavier
Archangel Xavier is the most loyal angel to Lord Aevum. While he is his most trusted underling, he doesn't hold any form of fondness towards him. Rather, he sees Xavier as a tool to be used, a means to an end. When the apocalypse started, he tasked Xavier, along with his other archangels with hunting down any straggler humans.
Abilities
As a creator god, Lord Aevum can create any object he is familiar with or knows the inner workings of. He can create momentary objects, made out of a whitish, faint blue translucent, spectral material that emits fog. He can dismiss these objects any time.
